Sense of Place Trail

 Sense of Place Trail

The Sense of Place Trail was a guided walking tour through South London, designed
to foster a deeper connection between participants and their surroundings.

Curated to showcase culturally and historically significant locations, the trail aimed to
highlight their role in shaping local identity. I created the booklet and map, integrating
layout design, photography, and illustration, resulting in a meaningful and enriching
experience that offered an insightful exploration of South London’s heritage.

The book design was inspired by pocket guides used for walking trails. It was created
in a slim, portrait format, making it easy to slip into a pocket and hold in one hand.
